I thought it looked very bad for Silva - not sure it was deliberate though - he could have been knocked out.

Looked like it grazed his cheek but i guess not

That's not a good sight - I hope it's not a fracture.

What the fuck happen? The river went down and came back to this. Was it intentional?

Totally agree. Game is safe. Pozo should be on for a try out if nothing else.

Look like fracture bone on Silva

Debatable - I didn't think it was intentional - he wasn't even having a sly glance at Silva leading up to the contact, just focusing on the ball - it was a heavy elbow to the face.

I think it was a little bit unfortunate with the height difference in the players, though he was keeping his elbow a bit high and swinging it about carelessly. Did he mean to elbow Silva in the face? No I don't think it was malicious, but I do think it was a red.

some random cunt elbowed Silva in the cheekbone....intentionally or not is the question. I thought it looked very accidental to me, but players can be tricky in knowing where someone might be. Oddly if Silva got a yellow for his elbow-ish earlier in the match then this play was Ben Thatcher-esque by comparison. Just for reference.

I believe all the dramatics were just about being safe because his neck took a hit as his face was smashed in.

Hope it's nothing nearly as serious as the 10 mins of hauling him off the field would imply.

Shitty for the dude.

cheers

Fucking lazy of Yaya to give the ball away and then great block by Mangala. Pace dropped since long delay for Silva.

Bit lacklustre this second half. Still, looks like three points and would have taken this after 80 minutes before kick off like a shot. Couple of players back on track as well which is nice to see

Shocking ball by Kola to give the ball away and another great block by Mangala who's played really well. Another great interception by him.

Mangler in the last 10 minutes, as good as any centrehalf performance this season.
