On paper we should have next season champions league in the bag, however, paper aint worth what it used to be!

Shit position to be in with all the hope we had on New Years Day, but we've discussed that to death.

Now, I'd be delighted putting the rags back below us, where they belong.

I can see us going unbeaten to the end, purely because of the hammering by the press and the fact that massive recruitment is being touted everywhere.

Players are playing for their future at the club, more than ever before. I think it will show. And certainly enough to get through these games.

I can see us getting 2nd on the last day.

I couldnt agree more

I have just had all the optimisim knocked out of me over the last few weeks/months. I think the spuds and Southampton games will be testing to say the least.

I think we will miss out on 4th place. Liverpool is in upward form and we are in free fall.
It will be a scrap with Soton for fifth.

I hope I'm just a miserable sod and totally off the mark, but our players just seem have to given up, so why shouldn't I?

I still think we'll finish 3rd but these gents could fuck up a piss up in a brewery, so...who knows what to expect really?

Every match will probably be nervy and stupid.

I hate football right now.

Read somewhere cl qualifiers may clash with the games in Melbourne. If we finish 4th and my holiday gets fucked I'll be angrier than Carl in a UNI lecture on the greatness of city centre backs 2010-2015

I've doubted fourth for a long time now. A turnaround at about the same level as when we won the title in 2012 is required IMO, and I just don't see that happening.

Also, I think Chelsea will lose the fixtures against the top teams. They know they have almost nothing to fear and will probably play accordingly, saving their energy for their lesser opponents. Both Scouse and Rags will knick points of them.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Unfortunately we have to play our remaining fixtures on grass and not on paper and everyone will be up for beating the Champions. If they can't be arsed to get themselves up for a derby match who is to say they will do for Swansea, QPR or the Saints?? Spurs (whilst shitter than us at the minute) will be looking for revenge too.

We need to get out of the blocks fast on Sunday and put a few past the Hammers to get confidence and belief back and then who knows, it could be 18 pts from 18.......................................

It should be boiled by now, you've been at it for fucking years.

I also think we will finish 2nd, but I think we'll get a good idea when we see what kind of team turns up this weekend. If they don't show up for this game, then we really do have a problem which may require a spectacular dropping or two.

I'm confident of top 4. 4 out of 6 games are at home and only really Spurs and saints as the tough games. We've been unlucky with the officials decisions recently and I think if we get back on track on Sunday with a good win we will be fine.

Could be back above the rags by next week!

I guess that's a small crumb of comfort - I'm seriously worried every time they step out of the dressing room at the moment though.

They're more likely to drop points against the lesser lights. The games against the Rags and Dippers are almost guaranteed to be snore draws

As for us, I haven't a clue what to expect. Having said that though we have won our last three home games so there's some reason for hope I guess.

I could just as easily see us finishing 2nd as 5th.
