Could it be rags trying to unsettle the squad? There is usually a whole series of "made up" unsettling stories about City in the week build up to our big games.
Edit: just done a search on twitter there is certainly no "buzz" about what the op is referring to. In fact I cant find a single mention! Is the op a WUM?

You did this a few months ago with Pellegrini. Now don't get me wrong am sure there are always rumours doing the rounds on this here twitter but you coming on here without any more information just fuels such speculation doesnt it?
