2) Kompany becoming a liability for club and country

The phrase ‘an uncharacteristic error from Vincent Kompany’ became redundant at some point this season, or possibly even last, as the number of the Manchester City skipper’s mistakes grew to such an extent that his supporters/apologists could no longer blame Martín Demichelis or Eliaquim Mangala. Kompany had an eventful evening during Belgium’s aforementioned qualifier against Israel in Tel Aviv too, firstly going slightly rogue by attempting a few keepie-uppies near the centre circle before launching an implausible volley from around 45 yards that sailed way over the bar – safe to say a pass would probably have been the better option there. And then, with Belgium only 1-0 up, Kompany managed to get himself sent off for two yellow cards, the second coming after losing the ball with a stepover attempt and then trying to retrieve the situation by grabbing Eran Zahavi around the shoulders. Kompany looked stunned by the decision by Mark Clattenburg, but this left his team half an hour to survive in a qualifying match with 10 men, which they did, but it was hardly the work of a responsible captain. This used to be a defender on whom anyone could rely, his mistakes rare and his temperament steady, but not these days – Kompany has now become a liability for both club and country. Nick Miller

The apologists hes referring to must be the same cunts on this site.......

You are one of them. If Lescott had been playing, you'd be blaming him for the fucking lot, including the volley. You'd blame him for causing Vince to volley it by not weighting the pass correctly.

I've been saying for years that Vinny dropped bollocks. Imo, it was Lescott who was the most solid of the two, & VK the most talented. As soon as Lescott was demoted, Vinny lost something & has never really got it back 100%, but he's still one of the best around, having a shit spell.

You will never find a cb, who doesn't fuck up. It will happen to Denayer, plenty of times & it will happen to Vinny, even if he hits top form.

Some cunt has to play there, & over the years Vinny has been one of the best to ever have played over here. Not mistake free, but still one of the best.

Right now, he's a bag of shite, but he'll be back. If we made him available, he'd rock up a year from now playing for someone like Real Madrid, & these cunts would be laughing at us, saying what a bunch of stupid twats we were for letting him go.

There same cunts are have got videos of Dzeko, basically touching a bloke on the chest, with a dialogue about him losing it & grabbing him by the throat, as if it's some huge Suarez type incident.

Who do we play next week ?

If we had that passion from Dzeko, we would be happy, sadly we have nothing like that.
