I'm not sure it was - he didn't even have a sly glance towards Joe, just total focus on the ball - he would have to be some serious actor to have intended it, I think.

That doesn't take into account blocks though and the West Brom defenders have put plenty of those in. Their defenders have done quite well, in my opinion.
