Dead intrigued by this. Think it's fascinating stuff so ill be tuning in. It'll be nice to have a second City to watch out for.

Melbourne City are often shown on BT on a Saturday or Sunday morning.
If 6am isn't too early for you that is!
They play a lot of pretty football and then often let the other team score. Ring any bells?

Ha sadly 6am on a weekend is far too early. I'm not out of bed before midday at the weekends usually!
To be honest i'm more drawn to NYCFC cos its a completely new club. I've never seen a new team with a profile the size of theirs start from scratch so it'll be dead interesting to see how the team develops and copes playing against teams who've played together for years. Added bonus of watching Facey's development and seeing Villa too of course.
I'd watch Melbourne though if it was more fitting to my waking hours.

Me too, i know bugger all about MLS if honest and would be intrigued to know from anyone who follows it, whether like the Prem it has a hierarchy (Sky 4/6) or is it more open?
How many supporters go to away matches given the geography of the country?
LA Galaxy is all I've heard of LOL (until now of course)
Oh and a league where there is no relegation just seems an alien concept to me..........

When you get to my age you will be watching the A League at 6am and 9pm start on a Sunday night will be too late for you! :-)

Not happy at all to hear Sky have the rights to MLS I was expecting it to be on setanta or Espn as usual.
Think I will be searching for a Joan for NYCFC this weekend.

Count yourself lucky that you all will have the pleasure of watching Mix's beautiful locks bouncing around the pitch. In a recent interview he admitted to supporting city since signing with New York. I fully expect all of you to be calling for him to be transferred by years end.

We've seen them before but they've sold 60k fucking tickets. Amazing.
The match I'm guessing will be an absolute snoozer but i hope to god I'm wrong.
Cheers
Nice, enjoy the game.

There are some teams with a legacy but they aren't nailed on to do anything. Parity is the name of the game by design.
Not many away supporters save local rivalries, as we'd be wont to say, such as pacific NW with Portland/Seattle/Vancouver or NY which will now have 4 teams within an hour and a half of each other if you count Philly.
American sports fans don't do many away games because its a fucking holiday to get to a match and not just a 2 hour train journey at worst. We are just too big.
This makes away fans a rare breed for all but major games or championships.
Cheers

Not a bad game so far. Seems to be a good atmos. City doing ok but perhaps slightly second best. Looks like they could do with an attacking central midfielder with a goal threat. Can't think who could do that. Have a feeling this will be a very strong league.

Watching with one eye on my phone with sound down.....
Can't they grow proper grass in Orlando?
Fair play to 'our' keeper, that was some knock to the head.
Is that 'the Kaka' playing for them?
I do not like the players begging the ref for oppo being carded!!
Happy to have seen 2 players booked for diving though, prem refs could do with watching IMO
