i dont agree with the 6 year sentence at all.

if you remember the jeremy forester case, he groomed a school girl who he had sex and ran away with her to france and he was a fucking school teacher. the guy got 5 years and was out in 2.5.

adam johnson sent explicit texts and kissed her (what he was found guilty of) and gets 6 years? the justice in this country is a fucking joke sometimes. HE should be punished, but some level of balance. He probably got a BJ too but that wasn't proven in court.

It's quite worrying the number of people commenting on other media sites blaming the girl for this - saying she knew what she was doing.

Whether did or not isn't the point, everyone in the country knows the law of consent is 16 and the fact is Johnson continued to message her and meet her after he found out her age. He was the adult in the situation and should have ended it as soon as he knew her age.

He's fucked up a hugely profitable football career and will be considered a sex offender for the rest of his life. He only has himself to blame.
