The US market is spoiled. NBC Sports is part of most average cable or satellite packages.... So basically where u used to spend 30 bucks a month for Fox a and Setanta back in the day I spend nothing now. and I can see literally every single match.

Long may this continue America. Fuck yeah.

Cheers

Premier League Chief Executive Richard Scudamore: "Clubs are very aware that part of our product is keeping the stadia full"

Interesting comment.

I wonder if the Prem top brass are trying to press the clubs to reduce prices ?

No. Just a soundbite to make things seem better than they actually are. I'll be astonished if my ticket price doesn't go up next season, and that by at least £50. Now that we have Premier League FFP the clubs have a built-in excuse (lie) to keep increasing prices. (Or perhaps I'm being overly cynical).

No you're right.

I actually thought when I pressed 'submit' somebody should just shoot me in the fucking face for being stupid enough to even think of posting it.

A direct quote Ted

"Clubs will have to address ticket prices to make sure the stadia remain full. Maybe there will be increased hard work for the clubs."

In a nutshell its basically remaining as it is now until 2019 - only minor differences being Sky and BT will flip-flop on Saturdays from 2016 with Sky now doing the early game, and also Sky also showing Friday night football.

Jamie Carragher summed it up best on twitter - "that's the coaching badges out the window for a few years"

Fills me full of hope.

Good on them, I hope it happens for them

On another note looking at last years figures how have Liverpool earned more TV money than us, they were not in europe and nor did they get to a cup final?

Sky looks after its own.

It seemed like they were never off the TV last year.

They were on 3 times more than us and Chelsea and the scum last season - why?

When did this Friday night bollox get floated as an idea? Fuckin terrible decision with shite fixtures likely for everyone outside Sky's inner circle. Southampton, any London ground and Swansea guaranteed for the travelling blues.

Given the choice of Monday and Friday tho I'd always choose Frjday. Both awful match days, mind.
Should be Saturday only and maybe Sunday at a push but it's not like that's ever gonna happen
