Jovetic then. Not really fair though, as he had to take extra photos for his Instagram account.

I'll fucking golfclap that one. Well done.

Cheers

So we still don't know who's got the black spot.

My solution would be to drop Willy and Lampard, replacing them with Bony & Wright. Under the rules if Hart got crocked (likely to be out for 12 weeks - which of course would be quickly certified as such by our top docs) Willy could be called back into the squad without regard for trained status. The only problem would be if Joe got injured in a Champs League game and then the disinterred Wright would have to be wheeled on for the remainder. Frank is off anyway and wouldn't be missed.

I don't think my solution will be adopted - they lack imagination

They're having a massive game of rock paper scissors to decide.

It was all going well then Jovetic suffered a paper cut and the doctors are trying to decide when he'll be fit again.

I still think a televised straw pulling would have been the media event of the year.

Stevan, you know how your introduction was integral in our win over Munich, you know how your contribution directly led to Sergio scoring those two goals that won the game and how you also made the goal that sealed the deal against Roma that helped get us through to the knockout stages?

Yeah, well we really appreciate that but you're out.

Haha.

Nice.

Some cunts have no memories

How many CL games have we had in which he was injured and unavailable?

21 players on the list, not 25, we don't have the room to carry sicknotes, we sure as hell don't have the room to carry two sicknote strikers. So go on, explain to Aguero how you're leaving him out.

How does that stop you from leaving out Kolarov ?

The gutter press are suggesting it will be Jovetic anyway.

I wonder how the Count has sold that to him if true, as he can rightly point to having made a big contribution compared to Dzeko or of course Bony .

Perhaps the Count has promised him he will figure more in the Premier League ? Would seem a really bad move to upset one of your creative players/goalscorers going into a title run in.

I'd get rid of Willy.

1. He is shit.
2. I bet Milner could play in net or promote a kid.

Simon Mullock of Sunday Mirror says its Jovetic although no official confirmation. Clear sign that Jovetic is off in the Summer imo.

Jovetic is the obvious one. He will be injured soon so there is no point picking him even though he has made a contribution when fit. He will leave in summer too if another club will take on his salary. I believe the powers that be have ran out of patience with a player who's injuries have not always been easy to identify.

If fit top player, If he plays against say a Gerrard he drops into space and adds pressure on him, but he is not durable and that is needed now.

Why is this taking so long to announce? I thought the registration deadline has already passed?

There are suggestions that all squads have been updated except City & PSG. So it may be extra time due to checking ffp compliance etc.

He's been generally available more than most of our attackers this season though. Bit unfair to judge on last season.

My main problem with Jovetic is that he doesn't fit in. I think he's fine most games he plays, scores & assists, but it's like he's a brilliant player from someone else's team, trying to find a role, rather than someone who was designed to play for us.

I think he'd flourish alongside our academy players if he was younger. They play more like he does.

we prob could've sold him in JAn and even wanted to but decided to hang on while we're still in the title race and have suffered so many injuries…although with his injury record i don't know if he's much help.

he seems destined to be off in the summer though. hopefully to Juve so we can build up some rapport with them

Looks like he's a gonner in summer then.

Hope it doesn't fuck him up as a player for the league games.

Note gratuitous Ferguson Rooney free publicity pic in that article.

well, if he wants to prove his value to other clubs he needs to be professional and perform well. will do his career little good to switch off for the rest of the season.

time to for the bloke to man up!

sure, but he seems lowest on the list if you really think about needs of the team and who has proven themselves already.

dzeko may not be having his best season, but he is a seasoned veteran who has shown himself to be more than useful in big situations here.
