Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Being able to run for 90 minutes.
Being competent enough to kick it with both feet.
Being able to pass it to a team mate nine times out of ten.
Being able to deliver a set piece into the danger zone regularly
It really isn't that difficult.
Silva doesn't have those attributes.
Woefully one footed, stops and sits on his arse and spits his dummy out when he thinks the ref should give a foul. Cant take Corners or free kicks and i am not sure if he is in the 90 percent range for passing either.

Wow. Agree he's perfected the art of the corner chip that seems to have no pace or elevation.
As for the rest:
Woefully one footed. So have many top top players. It's what you do with the one foot that matters.
Spits his dummy out. Very rarely, despite often getting a kicking from opposition.
Passing. Given he's the one unlocking defences then yep he will probably be below players who just pass back or sidewards. Heck maybe Ashley Young is ahead of him.
Btw you forgot to mention his sublime sense of position and fantastic touch and control.
And here's what really makes me laugh. Most people have Hazard down as player of the year and yes he's a fantastic player. And yet from more games played he's only scored as many as Silva and not created many more chances per game.

Silva is one of, if not THE most talented player ever to wear a city shirt.

DOH ! Fellas....
It was a bit tongue in cheek. I am a big fan of Silva, He just needs to recognise his own limitations and get away from the corner flag.
The sucking his dummy bit , well he actually was fouled that time. He really can only use his right peg for standing on though and that is not acceptable for a pro and he should spend extra time improving his passing and shooting with his right foot, it can be done.

Id say Fernando's goal counts as "from a corner" so endeth the drought.
Cant wait for our next goal from a corner now, due sometime in late September at our current rapid rate.

I think it was the 3rd corner we scored from which makes it 232 corners between goals :-) Nice little run that is!
