Despite the corner. Navas proved his worth.
Predictable game. Chelsea happy with a draw.We tried for win but didn't over stretch ourselves.
Good result.

Good performance all round. If we were any good at attacking set pieces we would have won. Would have taken a point before the game. Having watched it, feels a little like two points lost.

At least we've seen out January and hopefully whe we get toure and nasri back, together with the addition of bony, we can kick on.

Feeling much happier after tonight's game.

The better side and could and perhaps should have won. We're still very much in there with Yaya Bony and Nasri to come back. If only we'd played like that against Boro and Arsenal.

First half he was poor but in the second looked more like himself.
I would have taken a draw before the game but it feels a wasted opportunity now.
We might be in pretty ordinary form but Chelsea have problems too.
Oh and the red did ok in not caving in but he was lenient on Matic who booted Big Dave all over

Navas motm followed by Milner imo. Nearly out of the woods now, with players coming back. Chelsea look like a dying man. BUT, if we play like we did today v Spurs or scousers, they will hammer us. Chelsea also will drop a lot of points with that kind of performance though & I'm not having the cup game being responsible; they recently got fucking hammered by Spurs & outplayed twice by Liverpool.

I'm proper happy with a piint...I mean point. We have big players to come back. After our recent performances that's so much better. Chavs will feel like they got away with it but when we went a goal down I thought it was done.

Fucking hell, now Sky trying to cause controversy about City getting a throw 25 seconds before the goal, even though we had posession anyway & Chelsea got the ball back!!!!

I second that. Very happy with the performance today apart from the sloppy goal given away. As many said, I would have been happy with a point coming in but I felt that we could have and should have won this one. Chelsea were there for the taking and without Costa and Fabregas, this was our best chance to beat them but it didn't work out. Oh well. Hope Kun will get some goal scoring practice next week against Hull and get back to his early season form.

Don't think he had a bad game. Certainly not one of his best, but not that dreadful.

Before the game, I was really worried that we would suffer a bad defeat.

Now having been the better side and having the majority of possession, getting 'only' a point leaves me feeling a little short-changed in that we didn't collect all three.

I must take suitably drastic measures to stop being insufferably greedy; at the end of the day, it's another useful point towards a title winning total.

Twice this season we have outplayed Chelsea, vut both times they have escaped with a point. I find that both worrying and frustrating. We'd be top of the league with those dropped points.

Chelsea empty chair the post match Press Conference. Not a single member of their coaching staff prepared to face the media. Pathetic.
