I expect if a player pulls on the City shirt, he will at least show a little effort, Dzeko has done nothing but have a jog around the park today, he could have done that from the sidelines.

Kun getting more game time. I suppose that's a plus.

Game has petered out. I'd like to see Kun get off the mark.

Nice play by Celina. Might have taken it further. Should have scored.

Nice from Celina. I think all three (sadly can't count Ambrose) have contributed well

Bad miss by Celina when clean through but we must pursue with them. Very disappointed if one or two don't start against Boro.

He made the chance to be fair and it was good positive play. If that was an EDS game he'd have buried it as he finishes stuff like that often - just nerves.

Worth nothing that it was no surprise that Evans looked by far the most composed out of the kids - he's played first team football for Crewe and you could tell he wasn't even slightly nervous. Give the other kids the odd game here and there and their nerves will go too. It just takes experience

The one who did himself a power of good was Evans. Looked calm and assured on the ball and the pass for the Jovetic goal was a peach. He definitely has good vision and the ability to play a long pass is there.Top level midfield in a truly competitive game might be something else but well done George.

Good for Barker to get his first taste. Didn't do a lot wrong but didn't really show the belief to do what he does best. Celina I know has bags of talent and I am surprised he took that shot on as early as he did but in a way it shows the confidence that he thought he could chip the keeper.I would have preferred the one and one take it round the keeper goal.

The "experienced" player who did himself most good was Boyata. Looked good to me and definitely worth his place in the squad.

He is and looks a naturally assured type of player but I thought the exact same thing. The value of a loan spell (or two)

Both Kun & Edin look fucking miles off the pace in both games imo. But it's good news Ed has scored. Aguero is 2 3 yards down on pace compared to pre injury. Both need mins v Boro.

George Evans looked very comfortable indeed. Been playing cb in the EDS but his distribution there has been excellent. All of these kids would be much closer to first team level, if they had been given a few more minutes previously. It's such a new thing for them, they are playing accordingly.

Having Sinclair on the pitch instead of ANY kid, is an absolute joke. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he gets on v Boro & the kids don't.

Makes me fucking sick tbh.

I found it interesting 1st half, how much longer Kolarov took to get the ball to Barker than Angelino does. Makes the difference between the defenders being set & not.
