I've heard that one too and I think it would be a good move for him. Always assuming he doesn't step into Pep's plans for the pre season stuff.

Would he become the only player whose name rhymes with the club he plays for?
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Lee Carsley as U18 coach.
Liked him as a limited ability but tough midfielder for Ireland.
Anyone know anything about him as a coach.

Haha.
Coaching team. He was coaching their U21s since 2012.

Up the wing,
Down the wing,
Mark Kennedy!
He used to be Wimbledon, now he's City.
One of my favourite songs, ever. Welcome back Mark.

Interesting piece on Jack Byrne.
Thanks for sharing - it was a good read. He seems like a very level-headed young man.

He talks a good talk, for sure. He didn't mention that his goal against PSV came in a 6-2 defeat (albeit better than the 0-6 defeat earlier in the season.) He also didn't let on that the "relegation zone" that the club were "slipping further down into" ended with Cambuur finishing well bottom of the league and a country mile from safety!

Why is that we don't have anyone in the England under19 squad?

Interesting piece on Jack Byrne.
Took a while for me to read it but yes, good interview. I especially liked this quote:
“Patrick was one of the best midfielders and I got to work under him for three years, listen to what he had to say about where you should be on the pitch, and picked up valuable information from him.
“I still talk to him; he still watched the games last year when I was out in Holland.
“So it was nice of him. He didn’t have to do that. I’m very grateful.”
Vieira for the win.

Enes Unal gone to Twente in Holland on loan. If he doesn't score goals there he isn't going to

I didn't see the numbers, but I thought I heard he did well last season in Belgium and Holland?

Well, he struggled a bit in Belgium, but did well in the Dutch second division.
Yaw Yeboah has gone to Twente as well. Interesting.

Twente is a bit too chaotic for my liking - would prefer to send our kids elsewhere. They're on the brink of bankruptcy and have been for a few years now. They will start this season on minus three points as punishment for not releasing their financial statement for last year on time and the Dutch FA has been considering revoking their license.
On the other hand, they can't afford to sign or pay good players, so both Yeboah and Unual are likely to get a lot of game time.

We seem to have a partnership with NAC Breda which could just get them promoted... we have a commitment to send them a certain number of players from what I've read, (between 4 and 6 according to the MEN). I don't know a lot about the club other than it seems to be relatively well supported for the 2nd tier, and Unal apparently enjoyed the home games last season.

Well if our strikers don't cut the mustard in Dutch
2nd division it's fair to say they will never make it at City IMO.
Hopefully he can make a difference at twenty next season
