Same.

That's survivable.

So maybe a bit more and -4...but maybe not.

We seem ripe for The Influential-refereeing one to capitalize on our absences. Hope I'm wrong.

Someone needs a foot in their ass. Not sure we have enough feet on the staff tho using that approach

Cheers

We might have to go to the Bridge and park the bus in order to get a point and not lose . Don't think we are defensively sound or good enough anymore to do that nor with Yaya and Nasri missing are we good enough to go all out and out play them . Pellegrini has some serious tactical thinking to do !

was thinking the same and a draw might do considering who we are missing but it would make for the most boring game in history as you can bet jose is going to play for the draw.

However, looking back at the spurs v chelsea game, we could play a similar game to what spurs done and really expose terry and cahill. Matic will most likely be tasked with picking up silva so he may have to be sacrificed in order to make the decoy runs that eriksen made in the spurs game leaving our midfielders a clear run at terry and cahill

Would absolutely settle for a bore draw. its almost the perfect result for us at this present time. So much now depends on this fixture and we are so lacking in midfield without Yaya and his big game prowess and Nasri,s creativity and link play with Silva . Huge couple of weeks for Pellegrini and how tactically he goes about this ...............

Ideal scenario for us with the players available keep it 0-0 for as long as possible , Maureen happy , were happy then Lamps pops up with a last minute winner .......... oooooosh !

If only lol .

Could happen. It's usually when they are written off that they get serious.

Dippers asked them plenty of questions tonight . Sergio at his very best will deffo cause Cahill and Terry plenty of problems , its just how we set up in midfield that is worrying me .

The season is in danger of disappearing down the toilet very quickly. We are in horrible form, have been for weeks and simply must not lose at Chelsea.
It's a concern.

I'm fearing the worst for this fixture.

If our own current poor form doesn't cost us the game, we'll probably be on the receiving end of some highly questionable refereeing decisions, which certainly will decide this contest.

Mind you, even though we will then have a mountain to climb and the media will be clamouring for Chelsea to be awarded the title immediately, it would be just typical of City to go on a late charge and give Mourinho a real run for his money right at the death.

Either that, or we'll do something stupid like winning the Champion's League.

Me too MC.

The ref will no doubt have had a pre game 'meeting' with Mourinho to iron out any differences of opinion. This is a must not lose at all costs game and unless we seriously up our game, we will struggle imo.

Having said that, when the chips are down we do tend to rise. Fingers crossed

This is what I'm hoping. I have a nagging doubt though that they don't actually do it until it's most definitely the last ditch saloon.
I'm not sure that they would believe it is, in January. There's a few senior players that need to get the intensity up and keep it up from here on in.
Although, I've been of the opinion that if City apply the pressure, they will crack Chelsea in the end, Chelsea are made of different material than Liverpool or The Rags. They are not the kind of team that will throw away two chances should we catch them and fuck it up again.
Now is the time to pull out the stops, before re-enforcements arrive from Africa,
