Wondered that myself!

Hope he is better than last striker that had that number.....

I just hope he isn't as crocked.

Fucking Leslie getting his mate a payday, cunt.

Hughes signed Negredo ?

Fair play to him.

He isn't playing in 9, he's playing in 14.

Feels a lot like Drogba to Chelsea to me.
Think he's going to be awesome.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. If he turns out half the player, we'll be laughing.

Maybe he will play as a false 9.

No, its a new tactical concept - the false 14 who plays like a 9.

Don't think I am getting ahead of myself.
I'm generally a right pessimistic bugger, but this has really got me excited.
As I said, I really think he's going to be awesome.

He was always flakey as fuck even when he scored goals. Bony has been solid as a rock, even when he doesn't score.

No comparison.

Let's put this up again, for Demba Ba comparison :

He really has a terrific shot on him. Seriously powerful.

Before the injury, aguero was starting to get that back and toure always has it.

Having three forwards on the team with the ability to strike from distance is exciting.

Prob not but could he have chosen 14 > 9 because 9 isnt available? Its Negredo's number and hes still technically a City player.

Prob not though

I just hope it has nothing to do with signing Jay fucking Rodrigues.

That would bring the transfer window crashing back down to earth.

I've got the same nagging concerns SB.

Don't want to pour cold water on the positive thoughts going on in this thread, but I just hope Bony gets off to a flying start with ourselves and causes any feelings of concerned pessimism to evaporate in short order.

he bagged 31 goals in 30 appearances in his last season in the Dutch league and then 16 in 34 in his first season in a new country and league. not bad.

won't matter if we don't have anyone that can beat the first man/put in a good corner

don't know if this interview was posted yet. from a year ago, but not bad:

and one of the comments got it spot on:

leeprice, bolton, 1 year ago
When he leaves Swansea he will go for 25-30 million. Joe Hart could only laugh at the power in his shot.

Nedum had his 4 shirt given to Kompany while he was on loan at Sunderland and Johnson lost his 6 shirt while still on the books much like Sinclair so I don't think its that.

Any player leaving on loan loses their squad shirt number. Isnt this how vinny got number 4 when ned went on loan?

I read somewhere that it's 123 corners since we scored a goal. Seems a little on the low side....

Last one was Demi at Arsenal I believe.
