Swansea tweet! that Ivorian FA have jumped the gun. Deal not quite done yet. Swansea have more interest in pushing this over the line than than City. They want the cash. We won't get the player until Ivory Coast are hopefully knocked out of the ACON.

14, wonder why he hasn't chosen 9?

Messi demanded that, as Dzeko has 10.

Maybe he will play as a false 9.

I'm as excited about this transfer as I was about Dzeko or Agüero when they came here. Fifty percent chance he will score two goals and assist one or score one and assist one in his first game. No pressure.

Can't wait to see this guy playing for us. The partnership of Aguero and Bony will terrify defences.

Brilliant signing. Every chance he will hit the ground running and could easily tip the balance in the title race. My only regret is that he's away at the ACON. Hope Ivory Coast get knocked out quickly. Worth mentioning that he stressed that the prospect of Champions Zleague football was a big factor in his decision to come here, Pellegrini faces a big decision on who to leave out of the next list. Someone's going to be very unhappy but I doubt he'd leave out Bony having just signed him. If it is a striker I think Jovetic will be the one who misses out which will be a strong sign he'll leave in the Summer, probably to Juventus.

I wasn't really that 'up' for it, more 'take it or leave it' .

He was probably our toughest opponent of the season in the recent game, fair enough, but it's actually the youtube highlights of his touches v City from last year, & also looking at which teams he's scored against, has really sold me on it.

Also, he could last some time in the game, with his build & the fact he doesn't rely on pace. In his 30s, he could become a Hughes type player, more concerned with feeding a goalscorer & holding the ball up.

Welcome Big Wilf.

He has an excellent non injury record i'm sure that will be put to the test here.

Overall I think this is an excellent signing. I can only see City getting stronger and stronger from February on. Keep the rest of the squad fit and I can see a juggernaut ending to the season. This guy will be instrumental. (Hopefully)
