City's PR hasn't been great and has given all the haters a stick to beat us with. There's going to be a number of unhelpful pieces in tomorrow's papers including in the Guardian. At the end of the day we've got Frank till the end of the season and I can't imagine the EPL will do more than huff and puff. Still a lot of this could have been avoided if we had got ahead of the story at the beginning.

As long as it winds cunts of all nationalities up I'm all for it. Fuck them all. Where was the outrage and protest groups from Chelsea when Lampard was allowed to leave at the end of his contract? Maybe they should direct their anger where it actually needs to go instead of lashing out at us.

I doubt that Frank would have been allowed to go directly to one of Chelsea's rival, so maybe that NYC stuff was just a cunning manoevre.

Chelsea did not give Frank a contract. He was free to go wherever he wanted. No need for a cunning plan.

I think this was all just a fact of SFF being better than everybody thought, apart from Peller's.

Lampard's intention was to join NYFC as the commitment was there but Peller's recognised his experience would benefit us and there was no way Lampard could turn down the offer, whether it be to win further honours or to remind Chelsea that they shouldn't have let him go so early.

Peller's has pulled a blinder and I'm hoping Lampard's many years of CL experience help us out going forward. That experience is priceless.

Can't help but noticed he did not play after the whole NY scandal.

Let's recall how many points did Fat Frank got for us this summer and instead Pellers doesn't use him almost at all. Funny isn't it?
