The Guardian.....as opposed to the 'Volkischer Beobachter' tendencies of the right wing, crypto-fascist, Tory propaganda mouthpieces such as the Daily Fail and the Daily Torygraph.

As bad and despicable as the Guardian might be, the others are even worse.

.....and I didn't even mention the swinish Times.

The fail is possibly worse. Don't take a newspaper myself but the times sports section, at least on Sundays, isn't bad. The mirror is possibly the worst of the rag tops, sorry, red tops

I'm like you NB; I don't get a paper myself. When my Mum was alive, she used to get the Daily Mirror but I hardly ever read the sport section in it, because of the patently biased agenda against City.

I think British newspapers are universally appalling and it's a sobering thought to contemplate that, as a nation, we've probably got the press that we deserve.

It's arguable we as a nation have the media we deserve, not just the press. Sky, the BBC, radio et all, all have their own agendas

That can't be right. Carl used one of them to show that De Gea is a better keeper than Hart and that we should buy him.

That article is the equivalent of the old Hammer Horror films where they wave the cross at the vampire & out come the teeth & hissing noises etc; talk about showing everyone exactly what you are.

Even the neutrals have sussed that one out. The comments section doesn't even contain one single post from a bitter rag supporting him; even they won't sink to it.

Enough is enough with that. For one thing, there is no way on earth the Guardian should EVER have him write a single word about City And if they do, then City should not allow him or his newspaper access to the ground.

That is the enemy at work, & everyone can see it.

If his employers can't, then they should not be allowed anywhere near our club.

Wonder how Jamie's shit sandwich tasted after the match. He sounds bitter, twisted and gutted. Good.

It's got to the stage with Jackson now that people reference him on the Guardian's City articles even when he hasn't written it. Last night, I had a comment on the City match report re. his blatant Rag bias removed, so they are obviously starting to clamp down on it. Would be better for all concerned if the twat was sacked rather than moderators going around weeding out any fan criticism.

The Guardian has the best writers and analysis, generally, especially with Daniel Taylor, but Jackson lets the whole thing down spectacularly. He's an amateur and a glib fanboy they would be better off without. The clown even contributes to a Rag fanzine and MUTV, FFS.

Supposedly written by Jackson post-match:

"The side the manager named still looked formidable and really should have been up to beating Roma at the venue where they had been handed a 7-1 hiding by Bayern"

City DID beat Roma, you fucking clown.

Quite clearly written some time in advance with the hope being that City would lose.

What a fucking amateur.

Since BBC 606 died, the Guardian has had the best comment section for all different fans to talk about events/games. At the moment, it's hard to find a place with hundreds of comments (including about 10% intelligent ones) only a few hours after a game. But with such a low level of hack reporting and a questionable redesign, I think many people are going to find a new place to discuss. Cunts like jj here are ruining it and being a disgrace to their profession of 'journalism'

Interesting post OD.

Until I read that article just now, I could have sworn that we won last night's game.

Silly me.
