He's getting closer and at least he's not hoofing it to Navas as he did in the first half!

I love seeing Milner still playing like he's only just come on in the last few minutes of the match.

It was Zaba's fault for standing too close to the touch line ;)

Is it called the Stadium of Light because it's so light on fans at the end of matches?

it's short for 'Stadium of lightweights'.

I don't think we're in any position to comment on fans leaving early.

Just my luck. I went to the defeat up there last season and knew we were done for from the moment they scored. So decided to give it a miss today. Then got called to a meeting in our Newcastle office and had to more or less drive past Sunderland on the way back, only for them to turn it on! Still, sounded like we were back on form again, and my colleagues in Geordie land will be happy with me tomorrow

Fantastic result. An excellent team effort, coupled with some individual brilliance. We dominated the match and are getting back to our best.

Sunderland have been a difficult side to beat this season (aside from their Southampton match) so this really is a great result.

The players seem determined not to give up the title without a fight. Let's hope it continues!

Law of averages says we are due a win there. 4-1. Aguero 2 Yaya and Pozo. Think we are on the start of a run and every confidence we'll carry it on tonight.

Should've gone to Ladbrokes

That was the proper champs & a much better job of removing the parked bus, than we've seen in just about any away game I think.

Well done to Dedryk. Very good indeed considering he was thrown in. And Serge actually passed to Jovetic. Fantastic.

Felt sorry for Rodwell. Yaya & Fern made him look a right twat & pretty much rubber stamped him as a 'reject' .

A month of this kind of performance level & the table may change somewhat.

well i enjoy beating these fuckers like this , no chance they will get even point, from 1 1 and it was clear. We are comming back in form , shame Spurs never ever can help us .
