It's the next theme: we are starting to play better, but what mugs we are to pay 30 mil for Mangala, here are a load of examples of his bad defending whilst we ignore 36 goals City score at the other end

Can read these cunts like a book.

Pelegrini says Vinny has a problem with hamstring. Checking tomorrow whether cramp or worse. Probably worse unfortunately. Could miss the Rome match. Actually MDM will relish the challenge of organising the defence in that atmosphere. Sagna worth a shout on Wednesday.

Sagna and MDM will be a good CB pairing. Certainly enough for the likes of Sunderland.

Vinny played on for a while with that injury. When Soton had a chance after about 85 mins (when they broke down their left and whipped a ball across our goal around the six yard box), Vinny was hobbling back or sort of running at half pace. Is Nasti fit?

Every confidence Demichelis and Dedryck will sort it out.

No problem losing one cb but both has me worried. Can have mangala and Demi for Roma at least.

Not sure about Sagna. When he mioved inside to a central position against Bayern he was easily brushed aside when Levendowski scored.

Do you think the fact we had three different scorers today, none of whom were Sergio, means we are not a one-man team anymore? Or do you think the media will just carry on saying that anyway?

Isnt it his first for City and only 2nd league goal?

no he scored for us in his first season, a cracker from way outside the area.

Terrifying but probably better than the other options is how I would describe it.

I wonder if Carl can think of a player we could have kept at the club for this kind of situation. It's on the tip of my tongue..

Third win a row and a massive one against 2nd in the league and away. It doesn't get better than this. Ref tried his best to give it to the Saints but it didn't work. A lot of you seem to be fuming at the pundits Hoddle et al, but I have to say that the BeIn sport panel of Gray, Shearer and Souness were all praising City from start to finish. A bit surprising coming from the last 2 but I guess City gave them no choice today ! They also chastised the twat ref for not giving a pen and booking Kun and his other bizzare decisions in the 1st half. They couldn't believe he could not see it was an ironclad pen !! One of them asked if the ref can be banned for a couple of weeks after a performance like today's !

Wasn't it given as an OG due to a deflection or have I made that up? It's possible I've totally imagined it.

City's Twitter feed claimed it was his first goal for us today, so you are probably right.
