I was watching it with a Dipper fan and even he did the same. Sometimes you just get caught up in the moment and if you really do like your football then you're going to get involved.

Townsend seems to want to support us but we've got to give him a reason to. Any other English team then it'd be a given.

Why exactly is Paul Scholes commenting on Citys CL games when he clearly has an axe to grind and isn't even close to impartial?

I don't recall Mike Summerbee in the studio in the 90s for Utd games, and even then he'd be more impartial than that bitter little toad.

As for Chiles - he looks like a Toby Jug and provides the same level of analysis as one. City nicking that game at the death really did bollocks up their narrative as theyd come to crucify us.

God help them if we somehow qualify as they'll be suicidal.

Because City's games are not on television for City fans to watch, they are only on, for rags, arse, scousers etc to cheer on whoever we are playing against & try to take the piss out of us. The whole programme is aimed at giving them what they want.

Lescott probably only got on because of the constant complaints from City fans & threads like this on various sites, pretty much every day. Finally they have given in, but they would much prefer someone like Rio Ferdinand. It's getting too obvious though, so they have had to tone it down a bit with JL.

That's why i tend to watch our games via Ukraine (even if on ITV) so i don't have to get wound up by the bile they spout. Much better just watching the game without constant rag references.
