From what I saw, Lampard was gash yet Ginger Pig said he was our 2nd best player. I'm taking it that Lampard lasted the first 20 then ran out of steam?

Walking back to the halfway line in a non-aggressive manner.

I have voted Frank as MOM. Thought he was excellent though it is a bit daft to vote for anyone but Sergio. Frank was not worried about the pressing game Bayern produce and his passing was incisive at times. Well done fat frank.

Frank and Sergio for me, but Navas also did well, carrying on from Swansea, and that performance will have done Mangler a world of good.

you should have heard lawro on the irish commentary about mangler.

Made out that he was a total disaster with every touch.

in fact, every commentator has been at it. I suppose they want to make it out that the most expensive defender ever in the prem is a complete flop.

he hasn't been half as bad as they've been making out and I agree, tonight did him the world of good.

he gave away the free kick but I think if he hadn't, lewandowski was gonna get a shot away.

I honestly think he'll become a great player.

Presumably someone who thinks a goalkeeper should line up a wall in a way that blocks his view of the ball.

The Daily Hitler had this to say about the man who provided the assist for the equaliser and winning goals (with two sublime flicks I might add).

Jovetic 6 (for Milner 65)

Worked hard but struggled to create an impact

I'm pretty sure the Mail wrote the City ratings before we'd even kicked off. I knew I shouldn't have clicked on it to have a look.
At least the result has probably caused a few axe grinding tabloid wankers to have to rewrite their articles.
