New Wigan Manager

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Am sure Whelan thinks he can put this fire out by reminding everyone about his broken leg. Again.

Hopefully this is the final straw that removes him from the public eye, and hopefully, never again puts him in front of a microphone as I think we've all heard more than enough from him. My only hope is that his downfall takes several other knobheads in the media with him, who refer to people like Mackay and Whelan as "football men" - twerps like Richard Keys and Alan Brazil for example.

In Brazils case, if you are Scottish and have a connection to Glasgow Celtic, then basically all his forgiven (Mackay), or any talent deficit or being totally out of your depth isn't down to you either ("Ye Cannae blame Davey") - nor is drink driving a crime in that nerks eyes either.

Dave 'we dont sack our managers' Whelan is starting to make me want to paraphrase the French Castle scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail:

"Is there someone else up there we could talk to?"

Or Turkeys, for that matter.

No matter how you cook them, don't use too much Greece.
