Delighted for him, great to see him back amongst Europe's elite. Serie A 15/16 just got interesting.

Filippo Mancini, Andrea Mancini... the list goes on.

All joking aside, he will need some players to go anywhere with that Inter side. Good luck to him.

Delighted for him and I am sure given some time he will get Inter Milan back in the Champions League.

He is a City legend after ending our trophy drought in winning the FA Cup and then to winning the League.

He has always won trophies at every club he has managed and hope he continues that trait.

First game in charge after the international break is the Milan derby!

At least he'll be able to talk about a club other than us in the media now. Good luck to him.

I wonder if he was considered for the Real Sociedad job, or do you think they were desperate to get Smeagol all along?

If there's an AC Milan version of a Twatford End banner, it will be coming down soon now Bob's in town.

If he has indeed been offered the job, and decides to take it, then good luck to him.

Despite his success with us, he still seems to generate mixed opinion with City fans.

Watching us win the FA Cup at Wembley will always be one of the best days of my life. Then some of the football we played in our title winning season was phenomenal. We did lose our way a bit in the second half of the season, but we rebounded in the best way and Mancini handled the media brilliantly, and Fergie in particular.

He may occasionally upset some characters, but he does win trophies wherever he manages and his methodical process of establishing a strong defence and then building up a strong attack was exactly the right strategy for us.

When we parted ways with him, it was the right move as his time was clearly up with us, but that doesn't take away an incredible few years with us (even if his final year was underwhelming).

Put the defensive shape back together and allow the attacking players to shine?

I wonder how the fans will take it? Whenever a manager is sacked there are many fans who are against him and when a manager comes back their noses are put out of joint. How will they react?

Did we have a manager return that was wholly lauded?
