If we're going to sign anyone it will surely be a striker, not an attacking midfielder. Pellegrini hopes that Aguero will be back for the Arsenal game on January 18 and Dzeko may be available a bit earlier. Jovetic should be the first one back although who knows. The Club knew they were taking a risk by not replacing Negredo in the last window but decided to take it. I suspect if someone is available who fits in with our long term plans and the deal is possible within FFP constraints( I don't understand what they are for January window ) we'll do the deal. A lot of ifs there though.

Good.

That's most unusual; an agent categorically stating that his client is going nowhere and, on that basis, forfeiting a big fat fee for himself.

He's either suddenly consumed by a bad attack of honourable rectitude, or pangs of principle.....or even both.

Whatever his affliction, he'll obviously be taken into hospital shortly.

Pogba won't go anywhere in Jan. Neither will Barkley.

African Football says Iheanachu has an ankle injury. From the tone of the article looks like he'll be out for a while.

This.

They are summer targets, or they should be.As for January our needs are a striker, a striker and a striker. With an additional need for a striker.

We are getting away with it having only 3 at the moment and cant do that for much longer. Any half decent forward with a pulse will suffice as our fourth striker but we need one, and badly. Everything else we can cover.

Other priority is Milners contract.

I too would like to make it quite clear that the Gardeners Arms Pub team have not been on contact with me about playing for them.

Should the media run out of shite to publish...maybe they'd like to publish that shite.

I think this Jan will see clubs like Arsenal buck the trend and buy big, if bids go in for certain players it might spark a different Jan Window, anything could happen if a big deal is done.

I disagree about the anyone with a pulse bollocks.

Imagine samaras or Benjani or god willing Mido.

I'd rather we persevere with the false 9 until Kun's return. Not worth wasting the wedge.

Cheers

All agents should be hospitalized, then the fumigators called in. Thats how you deal with cockroaches

I would take Barkley before any of this players mention . How much is a price tag on him ? And this rumor about Raketic i would rather go for Rabiot, PSG making room for Pjanic , Strotman almost 100% to rags and i wonder who will pick up Radja from Roma great player.

I see the Star are linking us with a move for Mandzucic - a reported £25m.

I've always been a fan of his, at 28 he will still have a couple of years in him, but I'm not sure this would be the right move for us at this stage
