The Rags part2

3 more years

Hopefully, it'll be 3 more geological epochs.

I doubt that he'll get 3 more months unless he bucks his ideas up.

I wish my job gave me 3 years to turn shit around, with unlimited spending.

I do like the way they mention the injuries they've got, just to give the Rag Clickers are nice cozy feeling. If anybody else was proclaiming 3 years with such financial power, they'd be derided from here to kingdom come.

PS. What happened to 'Rags' the original?

PPS. SCUM!!!

3 years.
I started a thread after we were taken over asking if we'd win the title within 5 years and i was laughed out of it.

We were starting from scratch.

So after spending 150 million quid, his original estimation for sorting it out, has gone up by a factor of 12.

Just seen a fact, strangely from Martin Tyler: Southampton are the 13th team in Premier League history to record exactly 22 points from their first 10 matches and nine of those teams went on to finish inside the top four. (We were one of those 4 who didn't ! Along with Newcastle, Villa & Wigan, so all 4 traditional bottlers at that point).

So statistics favour Southampton finishing top 4.

That puts a fucking great big cat amongst the pigeons. If we don't collapse in a pit of Champions League related doom, & teams such as West Ham & Everton have a bit of a go, things could get really hairy, not just for the rags, but all of the FFP gang.

Who were the 9 that did finish top four though? Arsenal, Leeds (in their Chumps league years), Liverpool, United, City (recent), Everton, Spurs. Teams who have more money than most of the clubs below them. Everton probably the poorest - but they had David Moyes ;)

No-one similar to Southampton in that list for me - and given that one of the reasons mentioned for their success so far is that they've used the same players nearly every match, I suspect they'll struggle later in the season.

What, like in 2 years!

Eh guys, not to worry, it's the philosophy that counts, nothing to do with the money at-all.

When does the three years start from, is it from the end of this season, in which case it will really be four years....or is it from last summer, or is it from now, or even January ??

Nice how Butthead isn't being very specific, but they will win the League, of course..........

Maybe he's just trying to spin things out until he's 65 and he qualifies for his old age pension.

Di Maria: PSG's money problems allowed United to sign me

Manchester United's record signing has revealed Ligue 1 champions PSG were thwarted by Financial Fair Play in their efforts to sign Angel di Maria.

Angel di Maria has revealed financial restrictions prevented Paris Saint-Germain from signing him in the summer.

Di Maria completed a £59.7m transfer to United in mid-August after PSG president President Nasser al-Khelaifi said the 26-year-old was "too expensive".

"PSG, I think they had a money problem and they couldn’t buy players," Di Maria told French broadcaster Telefoot. 'This is the main reason I didn’t go there. Playing in the French league would please a lot of players.

"Now I’m in the English league. But you never know, there is a lot of movements in football. You can never predict where you’re going to play.

"There were a lot of clubs interested in me. A lot really. But Manchester United appeared and didn’t go away. They absolutely wanted me and it happened."

Manuel Pellegrini admitted earlier this month City's "important restrictions" issues ended their interest in the Argentinean .

And in the comments section:

Manutdfan • an hour ago

He doesn`t deserve to play for manchester after this statement.
After this i would put him to warm bench until the december and sell him after that

Dadu Kain • an hour ago

he don't deserve to be a Manchester Utd player anymore after this statement.... it takes pride and honor to wear the Utd jersey and this guy has not got any clue..!!! such a petty that he gets to wear the scared #7 shirt...!!!

it takes pride and honor to wear the United Jersey and this guy clearly hasn't got a clue

He clearly meant to say "It has always been my dream to wear the Manchester Utd shirt" but forgot. I'm sure he'll say it next time.

What a miserable cynical sod you are Ted. I have no doubt that Tia Maria has dreamed of playing for the scum since he signed his contract with him. The first time he banked his first pay cheque was, I'm sure, one of the happiest of his life. He clearly can't imagine the circumstances in which his vice like grip on the red shirt will be freed even if it takes three years to turn the Club round. If someone makes an offer the scum can't refuse it will take him days to get over it. Days I tell you.

It'll take the team 3 weeks to realise he's not playing.

Never good to cheer a player being injured, especially if it's ligament damage. But they now have carrick, de gea, and blind all injured in the same international break...

Also this cunt wasn't even called for a foul here:

Funnily enough I heard this incident on the radio last night when picking the Mrs up and they described it as 'an unfortunate coming together'!

I wouldn't normally wish a serious injury on any player, but in Thugallini's case . . . .
