However this finishes up, it has been 70 mins of mediocre fuck all, with a deliberately understrength dippers team vs a cruising Real Madrid.

This is the typical story of the Champions League; 30 secs of genius, 95 mins of mundane shite.

Clive and Andy are like two fans praying for a goal for their team, Madrid are walking pace at best creating a chance whenever they want.

Meanwhile, Arsenal, having been 3 up after 60mins, end by drawing 3-3 with Anderlecht. Tee hee

Nicely done Arsenal.

Dortmund continue to make mince meat out of the CL despite their horrific league form

Apparantly he is the fourth player to score at least five goals in five seasons in Champs league. He may be not everyone's cup of tea but an average player he is not

Less than 1 in 2 overall, for Real Madrid & Lyon, 25 in 74 games for France.
Bale has 19 in 34 from the wing.

Ha great, they've got 'Voice of Doom' Didi Hamman on the Arsenal job. And Merson thinks they're tactically clueless.

The tone of ITV's aftermatch analysis from Chiles and his chums is noticably different than it is for City's matches - you would think Liverpool were unlucky to lose, lots of emphasis on how it's still in their hands in the group phase despite being firmly 3rd.

Is MacBananarama always this thick ? worrawally! I had the feeling Scholes and Dixon were embarrassed to be in the same group.

I love it when Arsenal fuck up. It gives me the same kind of pleasure as when Harry was at Spurs & they fucked up.

The whole attitude of ITV towards the dippers tonight was one of nauseating sycophancy. They just need to win their last two games? They've lost the last three you odious fuckers so where's this run of wins coming from? Still, good luck to them on Saturday....

Glen doesn't understand why Liverpool fought tooth & nail to get in the Champions Lg & are now resting players. Answer MONEY GLEN. Why prioritise the Prem ? To get 4th for THE MONEY.

UEFA have turned club managers into fucking accountants.
