German magazine Bild says City are preparing a 'mega' offer for Reus. Would love it if it were true but I dare say he'll end up at Bayern like the rest.

Lots of rumours about him in recent times.

I fancy there may be some truth in it.as far as interest goes. Whether we could actually do a deal is a different matter though.

Been saying for 18 months that we should go for this guy. Fingers crossed from me it happens.

If we did sign him, it would scream out for 4-3-3.

Apparently has 25 million euro release clause which we could obviously afford. Bild says we're prepared to offer 190,000 a week to him. Daily Mail are punting it tomorrow too claiming that we might be favourites because of increasingly strained relations between Dortmund and Bayern. Hmmm didn't stop Lewandowski going there. In any case the issue will be the player not the club given a release clause. Is it just possible that German football with a one club monopoly is getting boring. Could we persuade him that the Premiership is more exciting as a challenge and would of course be very lucrative? Time for Txiki to earn his corn.

Lewandowski left on a free. Dortmund couldn't do anything about it, despite strained relations.

433 Aguero, Jovetic, Reus ... Silva just behind, Fernando + Milner / Fernandinho behind that. After we sell Yaya to PSG for 50m. I'd take that.

Amazed by how everyone is seemingly certain that we're going to sell Yaya for at least £30+ mill to PSG. Weird.

I dont believe any made-up links these days. Reasons:

1) A million media outlets all looking for an angle to get their story clicked round the world
2) Agents just looking for a new deal repeatedly 'linking' their player to other clubs, sometimes players the same
3) I dont believe City - or most other clubs - send a note to the media every time they have an interest in a player
“I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly.”

Would love us to land him, but given the history, his nationality and recent history I think we can be certain where he will end up - Ill have a guess at a team with the initials "B" and "M"

I remember us signing Simon Royce on loan.

I thought Reus has gone on record saying he wont ever join them?

Tings change quickly in football. A year ago if someone had told you Lampard would score the equaliser in a 1-1 game between City and Chelsea who would you have bet he scored for?

Mönchengladbach would be a backward step in his career, can't see him joining them.

I think I probably prefer 4-3-3, ish on the whole, but I don't think the Count will play it, even if we did sign Reus. More likely he would play him as 2nd striker/attacking mid ala Jovetic Sunday or as the partner to Silva behind the front 2, like he does Nasri, with Yaya etc behind them.

I would like a front 3, including Silva & Reus, with Yaya & the two Ferns or Milner in behind. I would still use the Count's system as well though & use 5 in the middle as well, possibly all in the same game.

Holy shit, woman on Sky Sports News in a skin tight Sky blue dress, has just caught my attention!
