I think it's the Express, so they could just have made it up. Lampard has been very cagey when asked about that though & said he's going there 'at some point'.
Wouldn't do them any harm to get him a couple of months into their season though. They might be getting a Champion who they have just seen scoring some key goals rather than the tired old fart who left Chelsea.

I think him and City are regretting him signing for NYCFC and not us.
He's been excellent on the pitch so far and I can imagine he'll only provide excellent guidance and leadership for the rest of the squad off the pitch.
I really hope we do keep him until at least the summer. Although NYCFC have built up a lot of hype over signing him, so that may have an impact on things.

Lampard's impact is a great example of how you need to sign at least one attack minded player every year to freshen things up going forward. You can see that he immediately brings new ideas to the table and I hope we get him until the summer as he'll probably end up on 10-15 goals for us if he does stay injury free.
