I would have taken a draw this morning. J think the media had convinced me we were on the brink of a defeat. Its fantastic to win. I get the impression some are slightly disappointed we did not score a bag full as we usually do but it does nt matter. It is a great confidence boost. Winning is a habit.

Just back and not seen anything on the tele. We thoroughly deserved it and I thought we should have had at least 2 more penalties and they should have had another player sent off (the Yaya penalty). Fellaini, the degenerate CUNT, spat at Aguero as he did Zabaletta last season. When is someone in authority going to do something about this piece of un-reconstituted SCUM. As for the ref, a fucking bent CUNT if ever I saw one. Still, we beat the FUCKERS and I'm bouncing around the house like a 5-year-old on Lucozade....

Great result today. We really needed the win after recent results and we kept a clean sheet for a change.

It should have been more comfortable today but we got the 3 points in the end.Navas miss was shocking and Oliver screwed us over big time today, thankfully his suspicious(to say the least)decision making didn't effect the outcome of the game.

Think we have put a major dent in the rags Europa league ambitions :)

it was quite honestly one of the worst and most laffable performances from a ref in a long, long time. Three pretty much stonewall pens, right the fucl in front of his eyes and not even one gets a shout. Amazing.

It was as if after sending off Smalling he couldn't possibly give another decision of that magnitude against them. Amateur hour all the way. He shouldn't get another bigtime match again this season is my guess. They'll give him a bollocking for that embarrassment.

cheers

p.s. three points. job done. nothing really special, and papering over the cracks of some real issues with the Count's rotation/squad policies imho.

cheers again

Happy, obvs, to get one over on them yet again but would have liked more goals seeing as they didnt have a proper centreback on the pitch for most of the game

Even though he started the game, I don't think Smalling actually qualifies as being "a proper centreback".

The trees in my garden would do a better defensive job than he could ever manage.

Its amazing how quickly the 3 hour trip back passes when we win. It also gave me time to reflect on what a twat Oliver is, is he really a premiership ref, he shouldn't be allowed to referee another game this season
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)

Obviously happy with the win and three points but can't help but feel a little disappointed! For the last forty minutes or so we were facing a defence of Valencia.. Carrick... Mcnair... Shaw and were playing at home to a midtable side and they had 10 men!! I'd expect a championship side to stick 3 past that defence! Should have taken them to the cleaners but instead we were left hanging on. We do seem to be lacking that little bit of confidence, last season we would have ripped this side apart. Nonetheless it's 3 points, job done and it's on to the next game.

tbf to them tho...they worked their asses off with 10 men, and they weren't horrific. Or embarrassing. Look what happened under Bacon with less of a strong City team...Sick Swan baby. These guys did pretty well all things considered.

Sometimes down a man can galvanize even average defenders into something more...and if felt like that kinda day for them i'm sure. As Andie said...moral victory of sorts.

cheers

But so refreshing to hear them simply tell the truth. They ALL should have stood. And no mention of Rodney's Peno shout.

Most pro City thing I've ever seen I think.

100% true though. City were the better side 11v11 & they were on the ropes when Smalling cracked up, then the ref decided to allow them to stay in the game, otherwise, it was over at half tme, & we would have scored 10 in the second half.

Once again if the referee does his job we are two up at half time playing against 9. Instead of grinding them into the dirt we had to settle for a scruffy win.
It seems to be nearly every game at the mo. The CSKA decisions were marginally worse than this game
If the ref gets it right, the whole mood about City is so much more positive.
