How unnecessary was Silva's injury?

Postby Fidel Castro » Thu Oct 30, 2014 6:17 pm

Firstly, he shouldn't even have started. So fuck you, Manuel!

Secondly, he injured himself. There was absolutely no reason to go to ground. If he had stayed on his feet, nothing would've happened. Serves him right in a way, but he has weakened our team ahead of derby weekend and it is the team and us, the fans, that will suffer for it whilst he is sat on his arse picking up a fat pay cheque. All cos he fell over like a big girls blouse.

Injuries happen. It's part and parcel of the game. If he hadn't played last night he might just have easily done it in training. Or in the Derby.

It's not ideal preparation but at least it gave Nasri some game time and if he plays instead of Silva, at least he has had a bit of match practice.

Rumour suggesting he could be out for 3 weeks.

Should have been nowhere that side last night , heart sank driving to the game as soon as I heard the team.

MP f***ked up big time and very prickly in his response on GMR when asked that question.

He is our best player and we play like a pub team without him.

Stuart Pearce and Samaras all over again , nothing changes!
