Bayern were not the usual Bayern that night & lined up very differently; Pep cancelled it out & kicked the Count's arse tactically . Plus Fernandinho/Yaya then, were not the same Fernandinho/Yaya we have seen recently & City were not the same team then, v anybody, in Europe. With the same two11s playing, that game would possibly look very different if it was played now.
