Will be banned for the Derby, what a week.

Won't be banned for the Derby. Will appeal it so he can play andestiny then get 4 game ban afterwards.

There are plenty of incidents like this every week and they never make the panel. If this does, it will only be because of media persuasion, but I can't see it happening.

Referee was looking straight at it, how can that be a ban (I know!)?

There's already been a City precedent for this with the Adebayor saga.

Ref was 2 yards away and had the best view in the world . Strikers challenge , nothing in it ref waved played on . Now if certain sections of the rag media get their way it will be the biggest fucking travesty ever if it gets looked at again !

I've always been a fully paid up member of 'The Club' but yes, where has that thread disappeared to ??.

The journalists running with this (trying to do their bit for the scum, no doubt) should be banned by the club. However, I won't hold my breath....

Heard Lineker talking about it on MotD and couldn't believe it. It was a nothing challenge and the ref was right there. No mention of Amalfitano jumping into the crowd when already booked though, a definite red card. They also mentioned that Kompany should have seen a second yellow which I have to agree with.

If Kun had his studs up then so did Noble, they were both going for the ball in the same manner, Noble was almost prone and Kun was upright, that was the only difference.

My biggest issue yesterday was Noble. He should have been carded very early on in the middle of the park and once he got his yellow later on, he could've had one afterwards as well. From the off I thought the ref couldn't handle the atmosphere and soon turned into a homer.

Running a headline and saying Atkinson missed it, with this picture attached is going full retard.

The media just doing there daily run of the mill, trying to look after the Rag cause.

and what about one of their players when we was on a break and he just grabbed the ball to stop us from attacking, he should of been sent off for deliberately handball

PA saying that Atkinson reporting he DID see the incident so no further action by the FA.
