Piss take really, just like those who travelled because they had arrangements in the building overlooking the ground but it then gets closed down by the police! It wasn't a public gathering so why stop it, just like UEFA stopped the CSKA fans getting in the ground ....... oh, wait.

Why not take some of the money they are withholding from the club for FFP last season and give that to the fans to reimburse their wasted trip after they taking their sweet time to decide if the match was going to played behind closed doors instead of giving it to the other clubs. Seems like a fair way of distributing the money instead of giving it to other clubs.

They take the piss daily and people wonder why us blues hate the cunts.

Slightly off kilter but why doesn't MCFC simply reimburse fans? Can't cost that much and what a great gesture. Plus it sticks two fingers to UEFA and their corrupt regime by saying "do you know what. We're better than you. Always have been and always will be."

Because for UEFA it's all about the sponsors and not the fans - sickening but not surprising at all the bunch of fucling criminals.

What a surprise, not. The club should step in here and refund, end of.

I know a couple of those that went - they booked the trip weeks ago, immediately after the draw was made and before the first round of games. Aside from travel/accommodation costs you can add £130 for a visa to the tab as well. Having forked out all that, they naturally still went as the offer of a free hot pot and watching it on the tv at the Etihad hardly seemed like decent value.

I have heard theres an idea for all our crowd to turn our backs to the pitch when the Uefa anthem is played vs CSKA - Id be in favour of that. Its a small gesture but visually will get our message across.

Not only that, they should issue a press release saying why the club have had to refund the fans.

The club will of course refund the fans, but they shouldn't have to. A precedent has now been set.
