spurs fans were sore losers, one spurs fans head almost exploded he was that wound up before he was escorted out of the ground by the local constabulary. My lad also got a coin on his head from the twats.

I still hate them from 1981 so pleasingly our present run of stuffing them is quite enjoyable.

Yes, me too.

I preferred Spurs to Arse before I encountered their smug superiority at Wembley that day, which turned my opinion right round. I wouldn't mind hearing what Chaz and Dave think of it now (so long as it's not in song).

Having now seen a recording of the game, I think we were below our best, but still better going forward than just about anyone else in the league including Chelsea. At times unstoppable. Aguero in that form can score at any second, Navas is tearing holes in the oppo time & again. Milner was tireless & although Fernando dropped several bollocks & is obviously not match fit & off the pace, as he was early season, the evidence of what he can do, is there if anyone can be arsed looking.

He, Fernandinho & Mangala could be some force once they get used to each other. Sagna was really solid, Vinny a bit weird, Clichy not bad, but Demi is more like he was early last season rather than the clever defender which finished the season. Silva arsed about & wasted lots of opportunities but some of Jovetic's touches when he came on were fantastic, so we do have backup for Silva, If the fucker can get fit for a while, we have a special player there. Joe Hart had the kind of game top keepers have, doing the business when needed.

Yaya is warming up nicely, Dzeko has been knocking in the goals; if Nasri, Jovetic, Fernando & Mangala can get involved regularly & play to their capabilities, we potentially have one hell of a squad for the 2nd half of the season.

Just try not to let Chelsea get too far ahead whilst we are still going through the gears. They have peaked several times already. We are in 2nd gear & still looking ominous for the Prem. We will have to defend better vs the rags etc, but we can defend better.

Joe Hart said it: "There is more to come". So long as we show it in the Prem, I'm not that arsed about the Cheats League.
