Give him a bye to the semi-final, Michel, you know it makes sense.

One day, and that day might not be that far away, professional football will eat itself to death.

Well the guy is clearly a pratt of the highest order.

Having watered down the European cup , he now wants it to completely implode ?

He should take a good look at football in Italy and ask why nobody watches football in the Stadia anymore.

It's not the point that he said it, it's the fact that he actually even thought it. This just goes to show how the former UEFA heads think, believing that the CL his owned by them because they feel they made it what it is.

And that's why we have seedings, TV picks and every other form of back-handed way of keeping them into the latter stages. The suggestion that this new draw criteria will change things is nothing but a smoke-screen. With the TV picks still in place, and even if we win our league, we could still be looking at the likes of what we've been drawn with already, they've just made it look different.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

The very essence of a shameless, 'snouts in the trough' mentality in the extreme.
