Diego Costa's Hamstring

It clearly deserves its own thread, given how it is a topic of discussion every three days on SSN.

Has a player's almost injured hamstring ever featured so predominantly over the course of two months before?

rooney's metatarsal. Not a hamstring, I know, the most famous metatarsal in the known universe.

It's like Micah Richard's knee injury, always on the cards.

How could we forget?!

Although that was an injury mate. This isn't an injury. This is a possible injury that could happen in the future.
Any day now... for the last two months...

At the moment I am hoping this hamstring keeps getting talked about every three days but keeps managing to be played with. I don't want it to go just quite yet.

I would like it to snap around the end of January when we really get into the business end of the season. By which time Drogba will be knackered to carry the team and other players will be picking up little niggles here and there.

It's either this, where the supposed hamstring problem is a merely a figment of Mourinho's fevered imagination, or, as we have said before, those Chelsea physios are the best in the world and akin to miracle workers.

To paraphrase a better quotation, there are lies, damn lies and Mourinho 'truths'.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him withdrawn from international duty after tomorrow's game.

Got to be up there with Beckhams metatarsal, Rooneys metatatarsal or Rooneys dick when its stuck inside a granny hooker.

Its usually a Utd player tbh, as most of the 80s were taken up with the red tops daily obsession with Captain Injruys shoulder/ankle/knee/thigh etc.
