Has a player's almost injured hamstring ever featured so predominantly over the course of two months before?

rooney's metatarsal. Not a hamstring, I know, the most famous metatarsal in the known universe.

I agree completely OD, it's weird.

At the moment I am hoping this hamstring keeps getting talked about every three days but keeps managing to be played with. I don't want it to go just quite yet.

I would like it to snap around the end of January when we really get into the business end of the season. By which time Drogba will be knackered to carry the team and other players will be picking up little niggles here and there.
