As debuts go and in the context of the importance of the game a fully assured masterclass. Worth the wait. He will grow from this and form a great partnership with Vinnie.

As for the love fest ...a lot here doubted the signing, like fernandinho as i recall, and there has been a lot of anticipation to see what he can do. To come in for this type of game and perform as he did is a very nice way to show us what he can do. We are going to be very difficult to score against this season, especially from set pieces, which some teams' certainly rely upon to win.

He looked perfect today, quick, solid, i might say, as good as Vinnie in his best days. But let”s keep it together.

Remember how Garcia had his debut at Stoke.
