The New Official City App

No AG7 we are not talking about our App that you loved!!

The new City App was tested at the weekend and I was one of the people using it. It was pretty impressive, up to date, had a lot of good features like guess the 11 before the teams are announced. Be the ref, head to head and player stats etc etc. Some really good stuff. Then I got an email fro City to do a short survey on the App and my experiences, I was very positive, however, the last question was, which 5 things on the list of features would I say were the most important to me..... IF I WAS TO PAY £1 PER GAME TO USE IT?? Its a shame they didn't give some free text after that question as I would have told them that there is no way on earth I am paying £1 per game to use the official app.

Have they lost the plot? The App was impressive but there is nothing special on there that would make you want to pay for it.

Sums up my thoughts too Bob after doing the survey. Surely us season ticket holders could have it free at the very least, though I don't see why anyone should be expected to pay

Charge small fee to download app and folks will get it. People are not going to pay a pound a game though to use it. Well not us normal working folks.

Shame if they go down this route. I use the current app quite a bit but it's a scaled down version of the os. Wonder if they will try charge for that too?

I appreciate due to ffp City are trying to go down every avenue to raise funds but please don't go down this as it could come back to bite us on the arse.

Slightly unrelated but I was browsing the city store for a shirt for the boy and saw a full sleeve yaya shirt for a measly £75....

No city, just no.

Why would you need an app to watch the game?

That's a fair question Beefy. I can imagine watching replays at half-time of goals, chances etc. Anything to take my mind off the appalling half-time entertainment!

You cant blame the club tbf. I doubt its marketed at real fans as I cant see many match goers wanting to look at how many times David Silva touched the ball while watching the game.

There will be idiots who'll pay for it.

Don't they show them on the big screen anyway?

Goals at least. Though I'm usually queuing for a beer so can't see the screens lol

The only things I might look from the app at the stadium might be some match stats at half-time. Actually no, don't think so.

Live stream if you have to go for a piss might be good tho

They do, but with this feature I wouldn't have to arrange my half-time piss around them
