Jovetic's hamstring

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Jovetic's hamstring

Postby Alex Sapphire » Sat Sep 06, 2014 8:36 am

Gone apparently :(
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Source?
Can't find any article online yet.
Would be a huge blow, both for the club and for the lad if true.

extent of injury not known so wrong to say it has gone

only last week costa was supposedly out for 6 weeks with hamstring knack - he then goes and scores in the first and last minutes of the everton game

FFS, this is a major blow if true, why we didn't replace the Beast last week is beyond me!

Such good business at the start of the window, now the calamity at the end will probably end up costing us on all fronts, well done MCFC.......

We all know him and Aguero are made of glass, why the powers that be think we can compete on all fronts being totally reliant on Dzeko is beyond me.

Imagine the scenario, Jovetic out for 6 weeks and then Aguero gets injured against Arsenal next weekend, we are fucked!

Yeah I was thinking who is the 4th placed striker. Is it Zuculini or Jordi Hiwula? Devante Cole is at Barnsley so cant be him.

Zuchini is in Spain. He's also not a striker.

Nasri or Silva are the 4th striker at the mo.

Yaya is I suppose also a possibility in the hole as they say.

I'm not going to be one of the people calling for someone's head about selling Negredo. After a week of it settling in clearly we made a decision and decides falcao was too expensive. We will figure it out. Forza the Count.

Cheers

we also have no idea how bad this injury is....
as i mentioned earlier in the thread, costa's supposed 6 week lay off was more like 6 minutes
let's wait until there is a proper diagnosis before we start slitting our wrists...

why Jovetic thought it'd be a good idea to play extra football when he gets injured getting out of bed is beyond me.
someone with his injury history should be resting whenever he can

Remarkable. A player may or may not have an injury that keeps him out for a period we aren't sure of, and it is a catastrophe that we didn't replace a 4th choice striker, who was DEFINITELY injured and on recent form couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo.

That's because they are all unsubstantiated reports on twitter. No sourcing yet.
