He scored the penalty and the third Goal with his right foot.

You are blind mate. Scored all with his left peg.

Sorry, you're both right. Don't know what the hell I was thinking.

So good, he passes the ball with bicycle kicks
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Apparently Nacho in the CL squad and Samir out. Great news (though overshadowed by the other news today) if true

So they think it's a bigger chance that KDB will get fit before the end of the competition than Nasri?

I'd say it's more a case of they'd rather wait for KDB in the event we reach the semi final rather than possibly have Nasri available for the quarter final, hedging their bets.

I also doubt Nasri will be back as soon as he thinks he will, he ripped the muscle right off the bone, that is going to need some serious recovery time, I'll be surprised to see him starting any more games this season.

I would imagine Nasri will also take much longer to get match fit, even if they both recover at the same time, having both been out so long.

Great news but a no brainer really at this stage, he just had to be included.

As things stood we would only have 1 striker for the round of 16. Bony is taking longer to get fit than expected. Nasri will be out for 2 months and then have to get back to full match fitness. I really think the decision was a no brainer.

Great news about him in CL squad. Has the potential with Kun to blow sides away. He could well be the difference between a quarter or semi final place

Nacho deserves it, although I half expected Nasri to be still in the squad and he could of still played a part in the latter stages of the Champions League (providing we are still in it). Still it is the right call.

He's also largely unknown in Europe, which could be to our advantage.

wonder goal in training. Hopefully this man can get some more playing time. Incredible that Bony still gets subbed on over him.

Nice pass by Nasri as well.

7 league matches remaining + 1 at least one Champions league match.
i feel like we won't see Kelechi in more than 3 of those. such a shame.

It really is. Not sure what Pellegrini is thinking anymore. Bony has had his chances, and not done enough to warrant being ahead. I defended the decision for a while. Now? Not anymore.

it just makes no sense. Pellegrini knows he's leaving at the end of the season. Pellegrini knows Bony will be sold. There's no reason for him to play Bony anymore.

Would have been better off going on loan , such a waste but never mind we won two games on the trot so it's worth it.

Agree - from the outside looking in it makes no sense to pick Bony ahead of Nacho.

Is he being protected because of his age or the old injury he had or is he arrogant or immature...?
(btw: It will be interesting to see how Nacho compares to Martial & Rashford (are they getting to much game time to young) 2 years from now).

So is there anybody ITK? What is going on?
