The story does seem to have gone cold. Does anyone know where he is.

It was Phips who was the culprit telling you off.

He's the self-appointed caretaker of errant threads and postings, so I think it's fair to say you can ignore anything he commits to print - just ask Original Dub and he'll put you right on that score.

In the meantime, feel free to ask all the questions you want; answers can't be guaranteed but feel free nevertheless.

I don't mind really, I'm sure he's right. I just have to get used to the forum etiquette. Some other chap put me right on the part of my question that was relevant.
I'll keep an eye on this thread for any other news.

The first alleged sighting was just prior to the rags game, which, if true, could now mean he is undergoing the so called 'trial' period which was reported as already having happened by the Nigerian media & makes more sense of the piece.

If, as reported, we have him on a deal where we can test him out first, then it makes good sense to do so rather than just giving him a full contract immediately. We can find out if his legs fall off under a few challenges or he breaks down etc, & also find out whether he's worth a place in the first team squad now, in which case we have to persuade Greg Dyke & various other rags the Home Office to give him a work permit or alternatively if rumours are to be believed, send him off on loan to the land of one eyebrowed mentalists Belgium.

That sounds as though you're trying to be a little bit contentious, just for the sake of it.

Ha ha. No need to apologise. It is a decent enough thread to start. You can't be blamed for the direction it takes once you've started it off.

I am curious about him too after the impressive things I saw from him in pre-season.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.
