I can believe it.

He was shite for half a season & it seemed too much to be explained away by a shoulder injury.

Reading between the lines Falcao wanted to go to Real and wasn't prepared to go permanently anywhere else. City were only interested in a permanent deal so he ends up at the rags on loan. I think the rags are terrified after their dismal start of missing the CL a second time so they pulled the communication cord. The question is whether City are prepared to go with just three strikers and let Negredo go to Valencia. Iheanachu is all very well but he's very raw and a work permit is by no means guaranteed.

This has all the markings of another Isco story. This time, however, the rags, as opposed to Madrid.

If that does happen, no sure they'll rub it into our faces. Obviously, the media is already cumming all over this.

Can't believe Falcao refused to sign a permanent deal anywhere. More likely he hasn't had the offer for whatever reason; injury fears, ffp etc.

He might still hope to go to Real next season; a lot of the top brass seemed to want him but not the main man. Probably a vain hope but if Real do poorly and he does well this season who knows?

Micah's in Florence to sign for Fiorentina.

Im not arsed if he goes rags but I'd have liked him with us.. especially if Negredo leaves which is a bit of a concern. I dont think he is the answer for the rags.

Insane figures for a loan deal being quoted but imo its a top signing and could well help sort them out. Di Maria, rooney, falcao ad RVP (if he gets fit) could be very very good unfortunately.

Hope they dont sign a decent centre back.

He's a fantastic player if fit.

But he doesn't fit into the rags team alongside Rooney & RVP. In fact it's not a given that Rooney & RVP together fit into this rags setup. If they were playing in 4 competitions it would make sense, but they are in two.

This is absolute desperation on a scale never before seen.

It's not really desperation signing thou is it? (if it actually goes through of course) He's a top player who i'd have loved us to get. Falliniwotsit was a desperation signing as was Benjani for us on deadline day a while back.

In a position they already have covered when not in europe ?

Absolutely it is. They are hoping individuals will drag them through when the team has big holes in it. If it doesn't work, they are fucked.

Those reported wages, the fact it is a year long loan? Yes, it is desperation.

Why did they not sign him permanently? Why did they not sign a CB?

The rags this season will be like we were in the last days of Hughes. They'll have to score 3 goals just to get a draw in games - sometimes they will, sometimes they won't. That's not a recipe for finishing in the top 4.

Liverpool had a team plan which Suarez was a big part of. They are playing the same style now.

This isn't Utd signing a player to suit a team plan, it's Utd signing a player in the hope that he, or Rooney or RVP will do something brilliant to raise them above average.
