Yes a bad day and they do happen every now and again. We are City fans and we can take it. We will win at Arsenal and off we go again.

Having watched it back on tele now its startling how frequently we gave the ball away. All those little one twos we do around the inside channels where we work an overlap. None of them came off. Silva had SUCH a quiet day. Aguero's touch was terrible throughout and there were so many misplaced passes.

One of those days where the heavens collide and basically everyone has an off day at the same time, with a few mild exceptions. Rarity that this happens these days but this is what happens when it does. You can normally get away with three or four average individual performances but not 7 or 8.

We don't pay what we do for a shit day at the office, we pay for professionalism every day of the week.

That was fucking garbage, anybody want to disagree?

Do you think they were being unprofessional? Wouldn't go that far.

We used to have an excuse. Away from home on a cold winters night???

Fuck me, we've just been had over by Sparky on a decent day in Manchester! He smiles.

Worst thing is we have this long international break and no opportunity to get back on track for at a fortnight.

We always have it in our locker. I wasn't even that surprised. Expected us to do the decent thing and wait till October, though, at least.

I hate these international breaks so much. Especially when the season has hardly begun.

Firstly, Lee Mason, as always, did everything he could for the opposition that a bent referee could do. Secondly, and of much more import, we were shite. Thirdly, and most importantly, well done to Stoke who earned that win.

It wasn't anti football. Unlike previous seasons they showed a lot more attacking intent and kept countering us well with pace. They had a gameplan to nick all three points and executed it perfectly. If anything they looked more like adding a second than we did to equalizing.
We were poor but credit where credit's due, they played very well.

Hate to say it, but at 26 minutes I saw the result coming and went and made a cup of tea. Ended up half watching the second half waiting for the sucker punch.

How unbelievably static was our midfield? People thought I was crazy to say we should swap Yaya for Barkley. Injury aside, how much does he look a player who no longer gives a fuck?

I agree. We kept him from the clutches of PSG but....Jesus he looks beyond carefree out there. Stealing money he is.

Seemed like a very Mancini style error to switch both full backs after a good performance vs dippers. I can see why he did it but quite often bobby would do the same leading to a disjointed team performance the next week.

I'm sure there were other contributors of course but this stuck out like a sore thumb for me.
