We really struggled last season against Stoke at home. There was no reason for surprise or complacency. It's true that Fernandinho Kolarov and Kompany defended really poorly for the goal but that does not excuse a shocking mistake by Hart. Not good enough.

I wouldn't say outplayed..we had 70 odd percent possession.
Id say they outthought us but never outplayed us.Hart cost us 2 points, plain and simple.

want be watching MOTD as it will just be a wank fest over evrything against City, they will be lig pigs in shit with this result today. It sounded like we simply had no ideas to finish after having so much presure and time in their half. As I said before hit with a one off sucker punch, we have a lot to learn still regarding well organized teams looking to stop us playing.

Makes no sense that you start with 2 strikers who can't win headers against a team which defends deep and then have a good crosser lobbing them in.

Poor team selection from Pellegrini.

You can't afford performances like this.
Agüero too selfish.
Yaya too unintrested!
Sagna stood still for 90
Shit saturday by all means.

Same here. Not sure if it's that or the performance that pisses me off more but I think it's the "performance"

Yeah that didn't make sense to me, 2 midgets against the Stoke giants !! poor performance all around today. Stoke have always stretched us and it was bound to happen sooner or later. Good wake call though early in the season.

Stoke fully deserved that, no complaints about the result.

Insipid stuff from City. There was a warning against Newcastle the other week where, at 1-0, they probably should've drawn level. It was even worse today thanks in large part to some horrific final balls. I can't remember the last time I've seen City over and under hit so many passes, made things a lot easier for Stoke than they could've been.

Fernando summed it all up on two occasions - first with a hopeless pass across his own box straight to a Stoke player early on, then stood still and got caught (and injured) not long after. That's the sort of half arsed shite that'll get you beaten by the likes of Stoke.

Jovetic is decent in the air. No decent crosses came in. He should have stayed on & Aguero off.

For me, first of all Stoke defended magnificently. But we should have been getting the ball wide all the time & getting behind them. If we don't threaten from wide, they can pack the centre as they did. When we did get wide, We had time & space to pick out a man but didn't. Also it was back to the bad old days of Silva/Nasri not looking to shoot, just pass.

Kolarov was back to the 'old' Kolarov. Sagna looked better than him in every aspect.

In the end though, you don't lose a game like that, you draw. Kolarov & Fernandinho were poor bur two last lines of defence had time to weigh up what was coming, & were fucking shit when needed.

I think we will have the champions hungover and this actually is a normal thing in the Premiership.

Today, Stoke deserved it 100 %, they came with only one plan. Sparky knew how to close us down, like he always does and we fail to do something else.

Our boys will be concentrated on the Champions League this year, i have no doubt on that. The League might come second, even if Pellers will try to motivate them to go again for the title.

Special mention for the crowd. If the crowd can't be arsed then we have no right to expect the players to be at their best.
