just looking at going to the Roma game away, Ryanair fly direct from Manchester, what a fucking rip off.

they have more than doubled the price to get to Rome and have priced the return out of my price range the twats
Normal price to fly to Rome in December midweek is about £35

On the plus side Munich is only a 15 hour drive.

just checked and its 23.99 to fly into Milan and 34.99 for a train into Rome on the Tuesday, then 34.30 for a return train and 23.99 to fly back from Milan on the Thursday.

more hassle but a hell of a lot less money for two of us

Try flying to Berlin via Easy Jet ........ Awesome city especially the Mitte district loads and loads of bars etc then get the train to Munich !

On my own once over the Border , i can put my foot down at 240-250 kmh.

Just under 2 hours to München

Overnight to Rome 6 hours stopping south of Pisa at a fantastic Agri-hotel for two nights.

On Munich by cars from Torino with a lot of our Italian Bluemooners from Cremona, Verona and North-Eastern Italy! CTWD!

For those in the know, how safe is Rome for our fans? I've heard the rumours about arse-stabbing (sadly not an innuendo) and all sorts of vicious stuff, so is it easy to avoid that sort of thing or are they out looking for trouble? Stay safe, those who are travelling

Just looking at Munich travel, its all a bit of an arse isnt it. i wish I was rich, but I am self employed and taking two days off to go to the game is a double whammy.
I could stomach it if the travel wasnt so expensive. Can buy my ticket tomorrow as well!!! Decisions decisions

Right the game, The Stadium is close to the Tiber river you will have to cross this to get on the right side for the stadium.
Roma Ultras will be on these bridges fans have to be so careful here as the spotters see you coming a mile away. Curver Sud is the Roma fans stand, and whichever way you dice it there is gonna be incidents, this is Roma and they are even on a different scale to Napoli when at Home, we will get a taste when they come to us I am sure.

My advice is to do a recci when in Rome sus out the stand we are in it will be behind the goals. NO COLOURS, AND IMHO PISSED UP AND LOUD YOU ARE GETTING BATTERED OR WORSE. Sorry I cannot see it any other way, as the Police do not give a TOSS FOR AWAY SUPPORTERS !

I am thinking of going to the Munich game and using Thomson packages as my way to get their! Does anyone know when they are actually going to release the packages and if they are any good?

TRAVELLING TO/FROM THE STADIUM
There will be free bus service to and from the stadium, the meeting
point will be at Villa Borghese (Piazza Delle Canestre), please see map
inside.
All transport from this area will depart under police escort at 6.30pm,
you are strongly advised to take this transport and not make your own
way to the stadium, this is for your own safety.
• Supporters will be searched and asked to show their match tickets to
board the buses.
• The police will take convoys of 8 buses to the stadium, starting at
6.30pm.
• For the return journey the police will take all public buses to the train
station, in central Rome and not to Villa Borghese.
IF YOU TRAVEL TO THE STADIUM INDEPENDENTLY PLEASE BE AWARE
YOU ARE AT RISK, FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY PLEASE DO NOT USE THE
PONTE DUCA D’AOSTA BRIDGE TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE STADIUM.
If you travel to the stadium using a taxi please ask the driver to drop you
off at LG Ferraris IV.

• Please be advised that the following is NOT permitted: Bags of coins,

• The supporters will be searched twice, a ticket inspection by stewards
and then a full body search by police.
• You will be kept in at the end of the match, the local authorities have
confirmed that you will not be released from the stadium until the area
outside the stadium is clear and that they can guarantee your safety, this
may take up to one or two hours.
