The swedish commentator said that the dates should be available within an hour after the draw.

No doubt they will consult Citys fixture list.

Thanks - I will sit here with fingers at the ready

Sorry? Do not understand.

Experience of last year is that once all announced flights and hotels shoot up - so I just want to book immediately before they shoot up - thought that was obvious.

Why wanker? - I always find CITY fans on here very helpful so when I needed the info and could not find it I thought I would ask fellow fans - seemed sensible.

Seems to me that the winners of the Premier League shouldn't have to face the winners of the Bundesliga in the group stage.

Because out of the 4 English teams in the Champions League, they have the biggest fan base.

It's not fucking rocket science.

As a media company, Sky want the biggest audience so that's the reason. We may not like it or agree with it, but that's the reason.

But regarding the draw itself, it's not straightforward but we are more than capable of winning that group. We have a fantastic squad now and considering that we've started the season so well without even getting out of second gear in our first 2 matches suggests that we have great season ahead of us.

I agree totally, i wonder if we'll get a live group game on ITV this season ?

I am not worried. Compared to 2012, we have a stronger manager and a stronger Xl as well as depth:

Roma have just lost their best player. And as long as Hart or one of our defenders doesn't cock up, we can beat Bayern as well.

Oh - sincere apologies then.

Just sitting getting really irritated after watching all that UeFA PR bollocks and not finding the information I really needed - so was frustrated.

I seem to remember a competition like that on the old days.....

I know that they won the Europa last year, but how were Althetic Madrid in Pot1?

of course we have a great and deep squad, but by having such tough opposition in the group phase, and our expectations to win the league and probably every other cup we are in it means that there will be little chances for our players to rest.

obviously that's why having such a deep squad helps us, and we have more experience and determination under pellegrini, but compare that to chelsea and their easy group...again.

Must have won it the year before then - even so it seems a rapid promotion. Still, I'm sure it's all fair and above board
