takes place at c5pm tomorrow
benfica
city
ajax
anderlecht
nice combo of proper clubs in decent cities for away days against teams whose ambitions are sadly constrained by the size of their domestic leagues

As we saw last year there's a big premium on winning the group. Need to get lucky in our pot 1 opponents.

So, if Arsenal get knocked out, then Schalke get promoted to Pot 1 - hmm, I'd take them

My favourite subject, bloody UEFA pots and co-efficients.
Still can't raise any enthusiasm for this horrible gravy train competition.

Very important to avoid the big three (Madrid, Barce, Bayern) as finishing 1st in the group obviously gives you a huge advantage in the next round.
Underperformed in the competition the past three years so I'm sure the target will be to at least get to the semi finals. I think Fernando will be a big player for us especially against the elite teams

Was just about to write that Arsenal were struggling and then the fuckers score ... I hope the Turks score in the second period. Would love to see Wenger fail.
Biggest surprise so far is that Malmö are ahead of Salzburg on aggregate. It would be huge for Swedish football if they were to go through.

Did anybody think that Le Arse were on the backfoot, with 2 clear penalties for Beziktas not given, until they scored?

You won't see a worse example how stupid the current offside rule is than the third goal for ath. Bilbao against Napoli just now.
It makes a mockery of the game.

Give us a clue 'Z'.
On the Arse game, the ref seems to be trying to level it up and Debouchy's yellow card was warranted. Not sure about Chambers though.

Was quite impressed with Monreals and Wilshires game tonight. Apart from the the fact there should've been penalties and the fuck-cunts should've lost 2-1, it was a decent game.

Brilliant! They've just asked the question of if it's protectionism in the CL and the answer they accepted from Quinny was a resounding 'Yes'. Sterling even backed it up!
I wonder why they would allow this talk now, as they lose the rights for CL coverage.
FYI.
