This City film

Postby michaelcityfan » Mon Aug 25, 2014 8:19 am

I just watched this on the OS I was nearly welling up what an inspiration, I am so proud of my club, they should show it to the players before they go on the pitch its brilliant. Someone's done a great job with that. Now lets kick the scouse back to liverpool. Come on City.

I wholly recommend, if you haven't seen it, full screen, volume to max.

I started watching it and thought "sentimental crap". 30 seconds later the hairs on my neck are standing up. Wuvved it.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Awesome!

City should just buy 4 mins of ad time before kickoff tonight and play this

At 1000% market value.

It's a nice bit of film.

Thanks guys. If he wasn't a blue, he would clearly be a great actor, a lot of passion there.

Sounded like Sean Bean, but clearly not.

Must admit that after 45 years as a City fan, that brought a hint of a tear to my eyes.
