At the time of writing, online are me, Piccs and Nottsblue (and 21 guests).

The BOT fraternity has: Exabot (BOT), Google (BOT), Yahoo Slurp (BOT) and Baidu (Spider). Our old friend Bing (BOT) was here but he's obviously had to pop out and do some shopping.

What's it all about???

Being a patently tedious person, I'm still fixated on this 'Bot' scenario and, being particularly prone to a noodle on Google, I've just discovered that, apart from its current, urban useage, a 'Bot' (noun) is a larva from the Botfly which is an equine parasite.

Google also claimed that in antipodean vernacular, a 'Bot' is someone who is always trying to 'cadge' off others. Perhaps Slim or Dazby could confirm/deny ??

All in all, you can't beat a good noodle on Google.

It's also a 'bone' in Dutch and both a 'fine' and a 'cure' in Swedish.

It means club-footed in French (pied bot) - I think we've had a few bot players for City over the years in that sense.
